Mike Olson, Chief Strategy Officer at Cloudera

Mike (@mikeolson) co-founded Cloudera in 2008 and served as its CEO until 2013 when he took on his current role of chief strategy officer (CSO.) As CSO, Mike is responsible for Cloudera’s product strategy, open source leadership, engineering alignment and direct engagement with customers.

Prior to Cloudera Mike was CEO of Sleepycat Software, makers of Berkeley DB, the open source embedded database engine. Mike spent two years at Oracle Corporation as vice president for Embedded Technologies after Oracle’s acquisition of Sleepycat in 2006. Prior to joining Sleepycat, Mike held technical and business positions at database vendors Britton Lee, Illustra Information Technologies and Informix Software. Mike has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Bob Rogers, Chief Data Scientist at Intel

Bob Rogers, PhD, is Chief Data Scientist for Analytics and AI Solutions at Intel, where he applies his experience solving problems with big data and analytics to help Intel build world class customer solutions. Prior to joining Intel, Bob was co-founder and Chief Scientist at Apixio, a big data analytics company for healthcare. Bob’s mission is to put powerful analytics and AI tools in the hands of all decision makers. To achieve that, he believes that the secrets of unstructured data must be unlocked through the application of broadly accessible open source analytical tools.

Mark D. Gianturco, Chief Technology Officer at NCMEC

Mark D. Gianturco, a nationally recognized technologist with over 30 years of industry experience, is the Chief Technology Officer of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

His responsibilities at NCMEC include technology strategy development and execution, and management of all technology. This includes software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, helpdesk and support. He also collaborates with NCMEC technology partners. These partners work with NCMEC engineers to develop and deploy novel technology solutions, to support the mission.

Prior to joining NCMEC, Gianturco served as the CTO for multiple software development corporations. Gianturco has also been responsible for creating and building corporate technology subsidiaries, and leading the architecture, design and implementation of multiple software products within those organizations.
